Our active nesting program for ducks and geese year in and year out has swelled our original pair of geese to the thousands and every year we see more and more nesting ducks.
You booked a hunt with your group, and you will hunt with your group. We think you should enjoy your hunting time with your hunting buddies, and we will make sure that happens. Although we are positive you will make new hunting friends here, we understand why you will want to hunt with the group you came with.
The smell of bacon greets you in the wee hours - no donut breakfast here! No need to drive to far-flung restaurants from hotels miles away - our lodging is either in, or steps away, from our stone and log lodge where you will enjoy meals, relax by the fireplaces, or catch a Monday night football game. You may never step into your vehicle while at The Hunt Club.
Variety. So many pits and different hunting set-ups to choose from! Extensive levy system. Flooded corn. Flooded oaks. Wild rice. Boat blinds. Prairie type potholes brimming with millet. Harvested corn and bean fields that the geese love. You will never hunt a pit twice in a trip because we never hunt a pit more than twice in a week.
The guides - Slim, Brett, Steve, Heath, Austin, Nathan, John -- these guys can really call ducks and geese, but they will be happy to let you give it a whirl! We have a great group of guys who are life-long waterfowlers and arrange their personal and business lives so they can help us out during the season. You will enjoy them in the pit, and later in the lodge. And the best part? They don’t hunt - you do.
