How to get an Archery Permit in the State of Illinois
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources has an excellent website www.dnr.state.il.us For 2005, the permit application period runs from June 15 to July 31, 2005. You may apply by phone or on-line.
For the first time applicants can choose to apply for their permit using their outfitter’s license number. The first 7,500 permits will be allocated to clients of licensed Illinois outfitters.
